SYNOPSIS

“ THE 2003 DOROTHY AND LILLIAN GISH PRIZE ”

At nineteen years, he wanted to fly. Some thirty years later, Bill T. Jones, the prolific American choreographer, returns to the source of his inspiration, takes a breathing, release a dense and powerful solo.

Alone on the stage, he explores all the registers, all médiums: the dancer gives a splendid demonstration of his body control from head to toe.

The Breathing Show does not refuse anything: dance, song, video projections; Isadora Duncan, Schubert, blues or belly dance, Bill T. Jones burst in all the directions and delivers a show of a technical perfection without smudge.

Bill T. Jones takes again his breath: in this way he wanted to make hear the title of his solo.
